I spoke last week about Spring in bloom here in the UK, but New York was looking equally as beautiful (despite a pretty drastic temperature drop whilst I was out there).
Ironically the header image up there was taken whilst we were wandering around Hell’s Kitchen (much prettier than Jessica Jones and Matt Murdock’s usual haunts), but it was one of the first glimpses we got of the oh so pretty flowers that were budding on the trees all around the city. The High Line park was especially gorgeous to walk down on a sunny afternoon with all the trees lining the paths starting to show signs of white and pink flowers, plus the budding shoots of green leaves too!
I’m forever fascinated by the juxtaposition of the parks in NYC against the huge concrete structures and skyscrapers. I can’t help but love the look of all the delicate pieces of nature set against the city’s sharp angles, exposed brick work or shining glass. It’s all so pretty and obviously oh so Instagram-able ;)
