My name’s Ria. A 30-something year-old Millenial. Born in the Philippines but raised in the UK.
I’ve been documenting my life on the Internet for nearly 15 years in various forms. In that time I’ve gone from a University student living at home on the South Coast, to graduate working my first job in Oxford, to now living with my partner in London navigating life in my 30’s.
This site specifically has undergone a few transformations over those years too. Starting out a fashion blog (called Wishing For Chanel), I expanded my writing to cover books, pop culture, and various forms of online activisim. And so Thoroughly Modern Millennial (lovingly referred to as TMM) was born.
In the time I’ve spent away from actively blogging, I’ve moved towards other platforms and TMM in its current form is now an inactive archive and stands as record of my musing from my late teens to early 20’s.
That may change in the future, but for now you can find me elsewhere.
