    Opening Ceremony
    Tribal Print Silk Culottes
    £350 from brownsfashion
The sun seems to still be shining here in the UK, albeit sporadically. I’m loving the tribal print trend at the moment; I’ve seen some amazing patterns and is a nice alternative to the floral that is all around the shops in the Summer. These Opening Ceremony shorts are perfect! The colour is fabulous and would look great with wedge sandals and a simple tank top.

Coachella 2011 inspiration and fashion round up

Coachella Festival 2011 was held in the sweltering California desert this weekend. And while I, like many others, were pining to join the sweaty crowds in front of Arcade Fire, Ellie Goulding and Mumford & Sons with all the rest of the hipsters at the festival I also made sure to keep an eye out for some fierce festival style.
Not only were the celebs out in force but festival street style got me excited for a summer, hopefully, working at least one music festival here in the UK. Coachella11fashion1

    Every colour of the rainbow

Colour blocking is a trend that’s been gracing the red carpet and catwalks for the past few months and now it well and truly working its way into the high street and in people’s wardrobes.

But you probably knew that. So why am I bringing it up?

Well, I’ve never big on colour in my own wardrobe, definitely more of neutrals, pastels and matchy-matchy outfits kinda girl. Colour blocking looks fabulous on my fellow bloggers and I’ve seen some looks out and about looking fantastic on people. I don’t quite have the courage to do it myself, but with all this summer sunshine the bright pops of orange, purple and greens have me running to the shops.

    What about you guys?

Any ideas on how to incorporate colour blocking into a colour phobic’s wardrobe?
