Another Autumnal week of photos. I still can’t get enough of this change of season, though am already a little miffed at all of the rain we’re getting.
I was very productive yesterday and managed to do a big wardrobe/beauty stuff overhaul. Believe me it was the best feeling in the world finally sort out my mess of clothes, out of date make up and tangled up necklaces. Out of the overhaul I managed to get rid of a good chunk of my old clothes, some of which are going to le mum & le sis, but alot will be going to charity. As much as I wanted to do a blog sale for some of stuff that’s still in really good shape and have only worn once, the hassle of organising it and posting and all that jazz was a little daunting to me. What about you guys? Thoughts here and there on blog sales?
Apart from that it’s been the same old with placement – this week is gonna be pretty hectic though! I treated myself to Marie Claire and some beauty freebies, which I may review at some point. Have also been in a bit of a flailing mental state when it comes to catching up on my good ol’ fandoms and spent most of Friday evening feeling all of the things when it came to the last Glee episode (it was called The Break Up…’nuff said…).
Mine and Erin’s book blog project is now kicking into high gear, we’re very close to naming it and have already signed up some brilliant regular and guest contributors! It’s still not too late to get involved though, so hit either of us up if you still wanna write for it.

Everybody’s doin’ a brand new dance now | Swinging Style at Olympia Le-Tan S/S13
[images via Style.com]Admittedly up to this point in my little journey about learning and loving fashion, the name Olympia Le-Tan only meant one thing…adorably awesome handbag books. Normally the favourite kooky accessory of the like of Clemence Posey or Natalie Portman, this little bags took a backseat to one of the best shows from Paris Fashion Week.Taking cues from the Swinging Sixties and soulful divas of yester-year the collection was a feast for a vintage lover’s eyes, with tea dresses, high waisted short shorts and pop socks galore. Better known for their bag range, this emerging clothing designer did well capturing the spirit of the era, with ice-cream colours and lady-like prints sure to be a hit with the celeb crowd. The best part of the show by far was the presentation of the clothes themselves. Models paraded onto a stage and danced along to The Locomotion before Ronnie Spector wrapped up the show – have a gander at the video below if you don’t believe me!I love shows that trill both in terms of fashion and design, as well as presentation and just general fun. So this one ticked all of the boxes.Keep on wishing…R.xoxo -
A season of change | Autumnal Inspiration
[above image via Tumblr]I can’t rave enough about Autumn. It’s seriously my favourite time of year. The start of a new season. A time to change. A time when the whole world just transforms before your very eyes. I get inspired by everything once this seasons starts. A lot of people consider Autumn to be a time when everything starts to get darker and fades away…But consider the bright oranges, reds and vivid landscapes of the leaves falling off the trees. The cosiness of a Fall evening in chunky knits that were stored away all Summer. Fresh starts and a new school/college/or even work year bundled up in duffel coats. Layers, layers and more layers. Crunchy piles of leaves. Halloween and pumpkins and rich harvest feasts. Boot weather, cable knit socks and tights. Wellies and umbrellas and the weather becoming the perfect excuse to cuddle in a blanket, a hot chocolate and a good book.Yep.Autumn is my kind of season!Keep on wishing…R.xoxo[All images sourced via Pinterest]
