    Another quiet week…but how is it March already?? Can’t quite believe we’re into the third month of the year. I feel like a million things have happened yet I also feel like I’ve done nothing towards any of my 2013 goals (with the exception of my reading goals, I’m powering through those). 
    Awards season is over with the Oscars finishing off the two month season in fantastic style. I always love putting together my red carpet round ups but it’s good to get back to writing about pure fashion, especially as I’m so behind in fashion week news and really need to catch up on the collections. If you’ve missed any of my round ups there all here. 
    In more internet-y news, in case you guys don’t follow the YouTube documentary Becoming YouTube, a lot of vloggers have been up and  responding to the topic of girls on YouTube. It’s a been a personally fascinating debate, as someone who is an avid vlog watcher and someone who is debating starting up their own channel – yes I’m debating starting vlogging…hmmm. It also means I’ve been subscribing to a tonne of book vloggers and chain watching bookshelf tours. Ah life.

    Just when you think it’s starting to become Spring, the cold comes back to bite you in the ass (excuse my French). Ah English weather. You unpredictable thing you. In other news, new books and new reads. I’m really happy with how much I’ve gotten back into reading so far this year, it was one of my new year’s resolutions too so I’m definitely powering through. My other style resolutions seem to be falling by the wayside at the moment. I’ve not really been motivated with my own personal style as much as I used to be, but that may be to do with this awkward mid-season phase with the weather and I just haven’t had time to catch up with much of the fashion week collections or magazines. Hoping this will change in the next few weeks, I want to spend some time just going through Style.com and literally pick favourites and trends out for posts…that’s if I don’t get sidetracked by Tumblr and Pinterest #Oops.

    Another week, another post, more work outfits and more books. Ah routine ^_^ It’s a slow kinda time of year where I’ve been perfectly content to step away from the blogging world and just curl up under the covers and read. I do realised that this is extremely none productive and will definitely regret not being more organised but for now, I’m good. 
    Because of this I’ve surprisingly not been as vigilant keeping up with Fashion Week shenanigans as I usually am – though I suspect this will change once the awesome that will be Burberry a/w13 hits tomorrow. There’s been a few collections I’ve spotted from New York and London that I’m liking, namely Oscar De La Renta, Jenny Packham and Mulberry. 
    In book-ish new, I’ve surprisingly won two book from GoodReads competitions. The first is a self written book by Naya S called the mystery messenger and the other an advanced copy of The Rose Project by Graeme Simsion. I already have a mega pile of books to get to get through but I will get to these! 
    And finally Shakeaways are awesome but deciding to put Curly Wurly’s in mine was both the best and worst idea in the world…so.much.caramel bleh.
