  • A season of change | Autumnal Inspiration

I can’t rave enough about Autumn. It’s seriously my favourite time of year. The start of a new season. A time to change. A time when the whole world just transforms before your very eyes. I get inspired by everything once this seasons starts. A lot of people consider Autumn to be a time when everything starts to get darker and fades away…
But consider the bright oranges, reds and vivid landscapes of the leaves falling off the trees. The cosiness of a Fall evening in chunky knits that were stored away all Summer. Fresh starts and a new school/college/or even work year bundled up in duffel coats. Layers, layers and more layers. Crunchy piles of leaves. Halloween and pumpkins and rich harvest feasts. Boot weather, cable knit socks and tights. Wellies and umbrellas and the weather becoming the perfect excuse to cuddle in a blanket, a hot chocolate and a good book.

My excitement for this movie knows no bounds, it’s even slipping onto my fashion blog – not that I’m complaining. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, well I’m currently fawning over the newest edition of Nylon magazine (Oct 2012).
Featured on the cover are three of my favourite actors/people in general in Young Hollywood. The amazingly cheek boned Ezra Miller, the adorably dashing Logan Lerman and Miss Stylish herself, Emma Watson. This new trio are out and about promoting their new film The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, adapted from the book by Stephen Chbosky.
The shoot itself is amazing, mixing grunge with a back to school twist (very appropriately parallelled with the time period of the movie. Love how well they all stand out individually through their own personal style. I definitely need to see this movie soon!

Another week, another round up…but the weather’s taking a turn into Autumn and I’m actually really excited. A new season of fashion is upon up us and I dug out my first knitted scarf. Autumn is seriously my favourite time of year. I love boots and coats and scarves and knitwear and tights and oh everything about this season.
I’m also musing about starting a book blog. I’ve been reading alot during my commutes and want somewhere else other than this blog to write about it, but I’m not sure I have the time to get into it…maybe do it as a collab blog? Thoughts? ;)
