We may be in the middle of June but there something coming up in Autumn for fans of Parisian chic and H&M. French fashion designer Isabel Marant has announced that they will be the next big name joining forces with the high-street chain this November for women, teenagers and (for the first time) men.

If the designer’s previous collections are anything to go by, this is definitely something to get excited about. A mix of sport-lux and urban all topped with a healthy helping of European elegance and timeless cuts, Isabel Marant’s looks always look so effortless to wear. I’m personally hoping for some of her box style jackets, as well as some boho-rock jeans from her Fall ready-to-wear ’13 collection – all with an affordable H&M price tag attached this time!
Is anyone else as pumped about this collab as I am?

  • Dynamic Denim | Mary Katrantzou x Current/Elliot collaboration

    .1.2.3.4.5.
In one corner: Mary Katrantzou, London Fashion Week d’ahling, famous for her intricate and explosive printed pieces on the catwalk, loved by celebs both on and off the red carpet. In the other corner: Current/Elliot, legendary denim connoisseurs, known for their timeless yet modern approach to design and tributes to old school Americana style.
Mix these two passionate powerhouses and you get the latest designer collaboration hitting the retail world. It’s an eye-catching collection, full of spring colours and intricate print-work. Mary’s signature style is all over this one, with banknotes, stamps, dashes and Aztec motifs adorning each piece. Despite it’s on the surface eccentricity the collection looks surprisingly wearable for day and night. My personal favourites are the tailored, sleeveless blouses and the Ashdale dress – which gives off a 21st Century Prairie girl feel.
What do you guys think? Hit or miss collaboration?

If there’s one thing I can’t resist it’s a charity and fashion industry collaboration. This year Children In Need are giving their cuddly mascot Pudsey a swish makeover. They’ve asked some of the best designers from around the world to give Pudsey a brand new look, ready to be auctioned off on the 15th November with all the proceeds going to charity. The designers involved range from the iconic names of Versace and Gucci to the pure British of McQueen and Burberry. There’s even a set of five pretty patterned Balenciaga bears.
The bears will only be on display in the London and Manchester Selfridges stores until tomorrow [14th November] but you can view the full gallery here on the Vogue website. The bears themselves are one of a kind but the store will be selling a limited edition bear, again with proceeds going to charity.
    Keep on wishing…
