  • Inspiration | Pantone Spring 2015 Colours

    I may be a little bit weird to get excited about this, but Pantone announced their Spring 2015 colour line up and guys it is gorgeous! This season palette, called En Plein Air, is a dreamy mix of softer pastels and light ‘neutrals’ which is wonderfully refreshing and very much in tune with the season. Amongst my favourites are definitely ‘toasted almond’, ‘dusk blue’ and ‘strawberry ice’, but I’m also still totally in love with the richer and darker tones of this year’s Colour of the Year ‘Marsala’.

    You guys probably don’t care too much about this but hey doesn’t this new palette provide some super pretty inspiration *points to moodboard*. Am I right?

    It’s almost payday and the mid-season sale emails have been flooding into my inbox. Rejoice!

    I always think this time of year is perfect to delve into the sales on the high street as you get a fantastic mix of the last of the Winter stock and the best of the newer Spring pieces, as the shops start to filter into their Summer range (which means great knitwear alongside pretty lighter designs!).

    As you can tell my obsession with the functional yet fashionable still rings true seeing as I’ve thrown in some capsule wardrobe basics into this mix. I’m also really feeling unusual skirts, whether that be prints or designs, I’ve got so many plain tops for work now I need something a bit more interesting to pair the basics with. The Topshop LDB is high on my wish list as I try and finally get one of my items from my style resolutions into my wardrobe – seeing as we’re 3 months into the year already – (and may have also been semi-inspired by Rachel Berry’s new signature style on this season’s Glee lol check out this Wednesday’s post if you don’t know what I’m on about!)

  • Goodbye Glee | Top 6 Most Fashionable Characters

    Let me first just say I never planned on doing any kind of Glee post this week and yet despite not having watched the show regularly since about halfway through Season 5 (I got angry at stupid storylines…), I found myself last Saturday morning in my bed watching the trailer for the final episode and crying…yes. Crying.

    Now as much as I want to get sentimental about the final episode of the series airing this Friday (for me Glee was the show that defined my online life from about 2009 to 2013) I thought I’d pay tribute to the show in a nice lighthearted way by looking back on the weird and wonderful world of the characters’ costume choices.

    Now, it’d be hard to pick out ultimate favourites across the whole show, so I thought I’d pick out my favourite character from each season.
