A little bit of beautiful on a bleak Monday. I spied this gorgeous shoot on Fashion Gone Rogue of Phuong My‘s Fall/Winter collection, featuring the striking Korean model Kwak Ji Young, and completely fell in love with the whole shoot. The rich colour tones of the collection provide the perfect contrast to the darker backdrop. Also can I have that deep lilac coat please?

Alexa Chung is very rarely on my radar at the moment, which is quite unusual considering she’s known as being one of the fashion world’s many dah’lings. But I did stumble upon this little shoot she’s done for MyTheresa. They’ve started up a series of micro interviews on the site of fashionable ladies with Alexa’s making an appearance as the first one. Am already lusting after those leopard print ankle boots!

Sometimes hidden gems like this crop up and my little fashion blogger heart can’t help but squee. This is a collision of two of my favourite things in the world…gorgeous, yet sharp fashion and The Big Apple.
The most recent campaign for Brazilian label Mabel Magalhaes, featuring the beautiful Dinara Chetyrova, was set against the backdrop of the towering beauty of the New York skyline. Shot by Gustavo Marx, it was a brilliant marriage between the harsh, yet architecturally beautiful metropolis and the stunning (almost Elie Saab-esque) collection, which itself was as intricately complex as its setting.
    Keep on wishing…
