Anywho, a good ol’ week where Britain got the tiniest bit of sunshine…and will once again plummet back to chilly weather again next week (just as I was getting optimistic about being able to jump into Spring). Which is shame really, as I even noticed my quick ‘Year In Workwear’ record seemed to look a little brighter thanks to the morning sunlight. I do miss taking full on outfit photos on my camera but taking a quickie shot on my phone in the morning is a) all I have time to do and b) much easier than lugging the camera out, making sure the whole outfit is seen, making sure I look halfway decent in the shot, setting up the right angles and ISOs etc. That being said I’m on the hunt for a cheap and powerful compact and have cornered two that I’m willing to aim for savings-wise. Perhaps it’ll inspire me to check off my ‘take more photos’ items on my 2013 resolutions list.

How crazy is that? Not only do I feel like I’ve been there for years, but time has just flown by. Only 5/6ish months to go until I head back into Academia for my final year at Uni =|One other important coundown…LeakyCon comes about a little sooner at about 4/5 months now. Acts are starting to filter through and though my two favourite people may not be there *cough*John & Hank Green sob*cough* I’m still ridiculously pumped for it! Is it too early to be looking for a dress for the Saturday Night ball? Of course not!Even sooner than that? My 21st birthday at the end of April…er…=SAnd then before that? April’s Camp Nano, reviews for Blogger’s Bookshelf, possibly a bookshelf tour for here, and desperate fashion week/blog life catch up….Phew…that sufficient enough an update?…think I might need a lie down after all that.soundtrack: Not Over You by Gavin DeGrawKeep on wishing…R.xoxo -
This Week…
– Day #134 – JT – Day # 135- Day #136 – Pretty skies – Day #137 – Late nights with my Kindle & Hayley G Hoover vids – Another new book #Oops – Definitely need a haircut –Another quiet week…but how is it March already?? Can’t quite believe we’re into the third month of the year. I feel like a million things have happened yet I also feel like I’ve done nothing towards any of my 2013 goals (with the exception of my reading goals, I’m powering through those).Awards season is over with the Oscars finishing off the two month season in fantastic style. I always love putting together my red carpet round ups but it’s good to get back to writing about pure fashion, especially as I’m so behind in fashion week news and really need to catch up on the collections. If you’ve missed any of my round ups there all here.In more internet-y news, in case you guys don’t follow the YouTube documentary Becoming YouTube, a lot of vloggers have been up and responding to the topic of girls on YouTube. It’s a been a personally fascinating debate, as someone who is an avid vlog watcher and someone who is debating starting up their own channel – yes I’m debating starting vlogging…hmmm. It also means I’ve been subscribing to a tonne of book vloggers and chain watching bookshelf tours. Ah life.Soundtrack: Mirrors by Justin TimberlakeKeep on wishing…R.xoxo -
This Week…
– On a health kick again – Day #129 – Funny stuff from Struck By Lightning – Day #130 – New kindle read, love the cover – Day #131 – Day #132 – Went to see my sister in Cats – Day #133 – Tomato soup at my desk – mini splurge – Yesterday afternoon spent with coffee & reading blog posts –Just when you think it’s starting to become Spring, the cold comes back to bite you in the ass (excuse my French). Ah English weather. You unpredictable thing you. In other news, new books and new reads. I’m really happy with how much I’ve gotten back into reading so far this year, it was one of my new year’s resolutions too so I’m definitely powering through. My other style resolutions seem to be falling by the wayside at the moment. I’ve not really been motivated with my own personal style as much as I used to be, but that may be to do with this awkward mid-season phase with the weather and I just haven’t had time to catch up with much of the fashion week collections or magazines. Hoping this will change in the next few weeks, I want to spend some time just going through Style.com and literally pick favourites and trends out for posts…that’s if I don’t get sidetracked by Tumblr and Pinterest #Oops.Soundtrack: This Is The New Year by A Great Big WorldKeep on wishing…R.xoxo
