  • Camden Calling

What I wore: Military shirt & vest top [New Look], Leggings [Primark], Sneakers [Lonsdale], Rings [assorted from TopShop & H&M]
Yesterday I headed to Camden with a friend of mine. I’d forgotten how long it had been since I last visited and it was really nice to spend a sunny afternoon trawling the market stalls, eating delicious Chinese food by the lock and fawning over pretty jewellery.

    – Sunshine whilst eating lunch by Camden Lock – Some of the market stalls – Cool earrings, necklaces & rings made out of old computer chips – a kinda foreboding photo of the Horse Tunnel Market lol – Me & my friend Roushie, who I spent the day with –

I picked up some two rings by Dirty Dolly Jewellery for £6 and a vintage 80’s cardigan from the Horse Tunnel Market for £20. I very nearly got a pretty vintage dark green playsuit, which I was going to turn into a dress, but my haggling skills pretty much sucked and I didn’t have enough money for the price they were asking. Damn…lol

All in all I had a pretty good day out, I definitely want to make a habit of heading down to Camden more often! Love it down there!

    Travels | Brighton Skies

Last Sunday, as well as staying up in the evening to watch the VMA white carpet, I went with my family for a day trip to Brighton. I thought I’d share some photos I took while I was there ^_^

    1. Brighton’s Royal Pavilion. We never went inside (to0 eager for lunch at that point) but we did spend a lot of time in the grounds it shared with the nearby Art Gallery. –

    2. Brighton Pier from the beach front. It was so windy!

    3. Good ol’ Fish n Chips by the seaside

    4. The pier has a funfair at the end of it. It was so crowded to the pictures I have of it were mainly of people’s heads lol

    5. The sun finally came out!
6/7. The seafront has so many little shops, tiny art galleries and cafes/restaurants. We found a shop selling marionettes and a tonne of jewellery stands.

8/9/10.On our way back to the car we took a route through lots of side roads. Then we found this street FULL wonderfully elaborate graffiti. It was so cool. We even got a glimpse of a Banksy piece as we drove home.

If you ever get a chance to go to Brighton definitely go! We only spent a few hours there, but as we walked around there are so many vintage shops, independent furniture stores and cool art galleries there. Not to mention proper British cafes, many of which have musicians playing for the crowds.

    Travels | Adventures in Westfield

What I wore: Cardigan: TopShop, charity shop find | Vest top, Primark | Jeans & Necklace, New Look | Rings, H&M and TopShop

I went to London with a friend yesterday for some well deserved retail therapy in Westfield shopping centre. May not seem a big deal but I’ve never been there before ^_^ it’s huge, with a cool mix of high street stores and designer boutiques like Burberry, Gucci and Miu Miu. I also managed to scoop up some bargain in sales.
