Hello lovely readers of Wishing For Chanel! Anjali here, I blog over at From L&P to English Tea, and also with Ria over at Blogger’s Bookshelf. Today she has allowed me to take over her brilliant blog while she is off on her adventure. I’m extremely jealous and can’t wait to hear all about it when she gets back!
Ria’s blog has always drawn me in, especially with all her amazing fashion posts. I’m not very fashionable, and couldn’t possibly tell you what the latest trends and styles even are, so it’s fantastic being able to go and hang out on someone’s blog and look at all those beautiful red carpet gowns and read some great fashion-related posts. While that’s not all Ria posts about, it’s one of my favourite things about Wishing For Chanel.
So! With that in mind, today I thought I’d share you with one of the things that I occasionally post on my blog. Being not very style-savvy doesn’t mean I can’t swoon over pretty dresses and long to get my hands on various cute flats. I love scrolling through Pinterest and sites like Mod Cloth, like I’m sure we all do, and more often than not I’ll be drawn to one particular colour. It doesn’t last long, a few weeks, maybe up to 2 months, and then I’ll be crushing on another colour. So merging all those things together and you get: Current Colour Crush. Which is what I’m sharing with you today.

Tea Time from SkinnyMe Tea | Flower Brooch from PatsParaphernalia | Satchel from Zatchels Crocheted Toms from Asos | Dress from ModCloth | Essie Nail Polish from Nordstrom (and other places, that just happened to be where I saw the picture) | Chair found here |
I’m just loving lavender/violet/light purple shades at the moment! I don’t know what it is, but it’s just super pretty. I think it was probably sparked by my great nail polish that I’ve been wearing a lot lately, and then seeing that dress from Mod Cloth. Gorgeous!
One day, when I have my own house and can afford it, I want a chair just like that, and I want to make tea in a pot just like that, and carrying things around in that beautiful satchel! *sigh*
Anyway, that’s the colour I’m currently crushing on. No doubt it’ll be different in a week or two. What about you? Do you have a current colour crush? What is it?!
Thanks Ria, for letting me crash on your blog today! And the rest of you people out there, do come and visit and introduce yourselves! Looking forward to meeting you!
