Have you guys gotten sick of my love of Autumn yet? No? Good, because this is yet another post proclaiming my love of the temperature drop and wonderful excuse to indulge in sweaters and knitwear in general! By far the piece of clothing I own the most of in my wardrobe is the humble jumper and as Summer ends I always find myself itching to get back into them.

Perfect for layering in the cold and rainy British weather and cuddling up in when you don’t want to turn the heating on just yet. They’re the most versatile piece of clothing I own and look great dressed up or down. For you have to go slouchy. The bigger the better, with more fabric to engulf yourself in. As for design, simple mohair or fine knit pieces are good for smarter looks, big knitwear is good for days off and lounging around the house. And, of course, I couldn’t resist including some of my favourite logo sweaters I’ve seen knocking about in this wishlist. I mean how could I not include a Harry Potter, cat print and Beyonce slogan sweaters right?

Let me know which ones are your favourites guys!

With the temperature drop and grey skies looming, Autumn soon becomes the perfect excuse to bundle up and stay indoors. So why not indulge in a little Pin-spiration to get some ideas on how to make your indoor space even cosier.

I’m so up for loading up on swathes of throw blankets and dozens of pillows for my bed – though I doubt this will make getting up in the morning any easier! Twinkling fairy light and pretty rustic lanterns to hold candles should, however, make the evenings feel lovely and atmospheric as you cuddle up with a book with the rain beating down outside. Ahhhh bliss ^_^

  • Autumnal colour palettes at Spring/Summer 2015

Perusing the Spring/Summer 2015 collections you’d be mistaken for thinking some designers were perhaps thinking too far forward toward Autumn/Winter 2015 with their colour palette choices.

There was an abundance of Autumnal orange shades dotted around the collections, from the darker burnt tones to the lighter hues set against a backdrop of white or pastels for more of a Spring feel. These earthier tones also made it into the Spring collections of Chloe, Louis Vuitton, and Dries Van Noten. There were mustard yellows and dirtied browns and greens making an appearance amongst the 70s inspired pieces, reminiscent of falling Autumn leaves.

Personally I love seeing these shades ‘on trend’ now, and I look forward to seeing them updated once Spring rolls round with lighter fabrics and the ‘prairie-hippie’ look replacing the cosy fabrics of this season.
