Hopefully by now you will have seen my Rome travel diary by now, though I didn’t get much time to extensively shop we did manage to get to visit the main shopping district in the city by the Spanish Steps and there were plenty of little boutiques near our hotel too.

Teen Choice Awards 2015 | Red Carpet Round Up
Here’s a bit of a colourful lift to get you out of that midweek funk! The Teen Choice Awards were held this past weekend in L.A. and there was plenty of California sunshine to accompany some fantastic red (or in this case blue) carpet looks on the night. Here are some of my favourites…
Best Dressed Award | Zendaya Coleman
There was once a time when I would’ve passed over Zendaya’s red carpet attire as simply alright. Nowadays she’s pulls out all the stops to stand out and for that I’m truly grateful, as we get fantastic looks like this. Too haute couture for the TCA’s? Who cares! I adore this Ashi Studio look which is all about that crop structured top. It’s bold and unexpected, yet has a subtle sophistication about it. Very few could pull this off, but Zendaya does it with a fierce and fiery attitude.

A Roman Holiday | A Holiday Style Wish List
*images via Pinterest 1 & 2 Guys! I head to Rome in a week, so my brain is officially in holiday shopping mode. According the forecasts it’s gonna be a scorcher. Cue me looking wistfully (aka panicking) about what to wear and how much I can pack before I head off.

Rome in mid-August is bound to be pretty hot, so I’m keeping my wish list light, so there’s lots of pastels, bright whites and tans shades. I’m also – for packing purposes – keeping the look classic. Think Hepburn in this post’s movie namesake with a splash of Alexa Chung.
