Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign has been given the Jeurgen Teller treatment. Teller, probably known more for his controversial shoots for Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood, this campaign placed nature and fashion in juxtaposition with each other to showcase the labels latest Cruise collection. The collection itself is awash with striking printwork on the backdrop of a 1970’s inspired colour palette, and the images fit so well alongside the dusty outlands of what looks like the deserted American planes. Take a glance at the full shoot by Teller on Louis Vuitton’s Pinterest board.

  • Couture At Cannes | Beauty In The Detail

    Cannes Couture 2014 1Cannes Couture 2014 2
It’s that time of year again, of swoon worthy gowns gracing the red carpet in the glorious sunshine of the Cote D’azur. Cannes Film Festival is in full swing and whilst eagle eyed film fanatics have been raving about this year’s nominations, the fashion world are swimming in a sea of breathtaking couture looks.
For me the love of couture is both in the fully compiled ensemble, but it’s also in the almost microscopic detail of the gowns and dresses. Whether it it for the evening premiere or daytime press call, it’s definitely worth fawning over the hidden treasures concealed in Best Dressed List worthy looks.

  • Beauty | Favourite Summer Nail Polishes

    (l-r) ‘Lemon’ Barry M//Fear & Desire, Essie//Elizabeth Street, Nails Inc//’Green Berry’, Barry M

Summer is just right around the corner and what better way to prep than to get those fingers and toes ready to greet the sunshine. This season is the perfect time of year to get bold with your nail polish colours and anything goes at this time of year. I’ve picked out some of my favourites above.
Though the Barry M shade above is called ‘Lemon‘, it’s actually a really nice banana yellow colour and great pick-me-up on cloudier Summer days. The tangerine orange shade by Essie, rather ominously called ‘Fear & Desire‘, is the boldest of the bunch. The hue is electric and looks amazing with tanned skin. For something a little more subtle I always find myself reaching for ‘Elizabeth Street‘ by Nails Inc, I actually think it was a freebie from a magazine but it’s become a staple for me and is a nice transitional colour. And my latest purchase! A really fun turquoise blue by Barry M, called ‘Green Berry’. I love the consistency of the Gelly range and the colour is a nice contrast to the other three I’ve featured.
Let me know what your favourites are!
