*sighs* Oh Valentino, how do I express how much I love you. Once again the design house has presented a Spring 2015 Couture collection that has completely captured my heart.
Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli truly love literature and they’re fond of incorporating beautiful words into their work. This collection is no exception with quotes from Dante’s Inferno embroidered across many of the beautiful pieces. The effect is just fantastical and, again, just took my breath away.
Only adding to the fairytale feel of the collection is the equally stunning beauty looks, more specifically the hair styling. The whole feel is completely romantic and looks like it was lifted straight out of a renaissance mural. They’re not the typical hippie flower crowns of the past, but think messy braided up-dos and with delicate flowers tucked into the strands, adding pretty pops of colour.
