Guys, how is it March already? The months seem to be flying by this year and yet it also feels like I’ve been living away from home for donkey’s years!
Whereas January was a bit of a shock to the system, an established routine and feeling more comfortable in my new place have made February much easier to slip into. It’s funny how the feeling of being settled actually coincided with a pretty big trip to Wales to see my friend get married this past month. She’s the first of my close friends that’s actually tied the knot, which still feels weird and oddly grown up to say.
Good thing I have my blog and Internet world to remind myself that I’m not really that grown up and can totally spend an entire weekend marathoning episodes of Community and getting completely hooked on Serial…yep
I also hope you guys have noticed I’ve been getting back into the swing with blogging a bit – the fact that we’ve just had the Oscars and Brits this past week have definitely helped (if you missed any posts make sure you check out my red carpet round up archive!) As much as I love the January/February awards season, it does swallow up a lot of my blog post schedule. It’ll be really nice to get back to ‘business as usual’ on the blog again, especially as my cruelty-free pledge post got such a lovely reaction and got a cheeky little mention in last week’s Links A La Mode too.
