Getting In The Mood For Spring

Spring is here – at least in my mind it is, let’s ignore the fact that it sleeted yesterday – so here’s a list of things to do ready for a fresh new season.

  • Skip the treadmill and go for a jog in your local park in the early morning sunshine
  • Update your phone wallpaper to something more seasonal
  • Delete and sort out your email inbox – you know you’ve been to do this for a while!
  • Pop along to a florist and buy some colourful daffodils, tulips, daisies and carnations
  • Hit the shops and pick up some pastel coloured tops and accessories to spruce up your wardrobe
  • Grab a book and head to your local cafe, spend the afternoon reading and eating brownies
  • Buy a bold coloured lipstick and wear it with pride
  • Spring clean your social media and unfollow all those accounts you don’t really need to be following
  • Change your bedsheets, buy new blankets and re-fluff your pillows (or get new ones)
  • Instead of going ‘out-out’ stop by a restaurant in the late afternoon with your friends and then have everyone back to your place for a movie & some G&Ts
  • Ditch out all of your old, expired make-up stash and clean those make-up brushes
  • Call up your Mum/Dad/Sibling(s)/Grandparents/Best friend/Someone you don’t see that often for a random catch up
  • Give yourself something to look forward to and book a holiday somewhere exciting
