Hello and welcome to the latest edition of The Sunday Share Out! Grab your hot beverage of choice and check out which posts, videos and bloggers I’ve been loving from around the Interwebs lately.

  • I could write entire novels myself on the topic of Youtubers-Turned-Authors, but I’m giving Lily some major kudos on turning her back on her book deal. Her post is really fantastic and I really appreciate the fact she’d rather not forgo quality just to rush out a book.
  • I normally don’t think about sustainable and ethical fashion, but since I switched to becoming cruelty free with my beauty routine it’s definitely something that’s crossed my mind when I’ve been shopping. My problem is definitely not knowing where to start, but rather helpfully Hannah’s listed off some ethical fashion brands and where to buy them.
  • Bee is for sure one of my favourite creative bloggers and her post on how to write short stories is rather wonderful. I’m always so focused on finishing ’novels’ that I’ve never tried dipping into this type of story format. Her tips are great!
  • It seems like I’ve been bookmarking quite a bit of blogger wanderlust recently. There’s Beth’s short break to the emerald isle – Ireland’s Northern coastline looks utterly dreamy! The teeny-tiny miniature village in Hamburg from Sophie’s post is quite possibly the most adorable thing you will see all day. Becky’s old school film photos from Paris are so nostalgic of a simpler time pre-Instagram filters and selfies, her photos are gorgeous. My favourite little wanderlust post has been Katie’s photo diary of her time in Wales. I’ve been twice in the past few months and am itching to go back.
  • Becca’s post on the 16 thoughts you have in Topshop are far too real for me. Check out number #12 – honestly this happens more often than I care to admit.
  • Of the back of my recent post on Independent Magazines, it was super interesting to read about how they actually make money in comparison to the ‘big guys’ at Vogue or Cosmo.
  • New favourite blog time! Door Sixteen is chic-a-block full of amazing interior inspiration that has me wishing I could afford my own four bedroom house and spend every weekend doing it up to my heart’s content! Check out Anna’s post on purple tiles – trust me on this (spoiler alert: now want to convince my housemates that this it TOTALLY a good idea to implement in our kitchen…)
  • Ending on a more semi-serious note Leena’s video (Spinster Girl) was quite possibly the most uplifting thing I’ve watched in quite some time. If you’re ever feeling alone or isolated, please fire up this video. Her words are frank but comforting, and something I really needed to hear at the time.

R.xoxo
